The Historical Association of South Haven invites you to join us on Wednesday, July 16 at 7:00P for a fascinating evening of true crime with Tobin T. Buhk as he presents: “Michigan’s Dark Places”.
Return to the scenes of Michigan’s most notorious crimes on this adventure in dark tourism!
Using archival photographs, crime scene sketches and documents, noted author, Tobin T. Buhk, will guide viewers on a journey to the most infamous spots in the Great Lake State. The itinerary includes a serial poisoner’s killing field, the site of a wild-west necktie party, the apartment where the Purple Gang imploded, the nook where the Ypsilanti Vampire stashed his victims and many more grisly details. This presentation is sure to keep you glued to your seat!
Tobin T. Buhk is a freelance author specializing in true crime. A native of Grand Rapids, he received his Master’s degree in English from Michigan State University and a Master’s in Education from Western Michigan University. He currently resides in Jenison.
The program will be held at our Hartman School headquarters, located at 355 Hubbard St. It is free and open to the public.
