The Historical Association will welcome Dr. David Benac, Ph.D., as he presents an informative talk entitled, “The Evolution of Company Towns” on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. The program will take place at 7:00PM at Hartman School, located at 355 Hubbard St. It is free and open to the public.
Dr. Benac is Associate Professor of History, Public History Coordinator, and Internship Supervisor at Western Michigan University. His areas of research interest include the American environmental movement of the late-twentieth century and the heritage & history of the timber industry in culture and landscape.
