About Alice Clark
Alice Clark was born in Illinois. She is a self taught genealogist who began researching her family history in the early 1970’s using family files from both grandmothers. Over the years, experience and attending multiple workshops and seminars taught her the importance of careful examination of family stories and documentation of all facts. After taking ownership of a suitcase of family keepsakes and photographs, Alice began studying early photographs. Being able to date photos helps to identify the people who may be in the photographs.
Alice currently lives in South Bend, Indiana where she is president of the South Bend Area Genealogical Society.
This talk will use the style and format of photographs to help you easily identify the time period of your photographs. Examples and references will be provided.
