Diane will present her program at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 30th and 3 p.m. on Saturday, the 31st.
Dianna Stampfler is one of the most motivated, energetic and passionate leaders in Michigan’s tourism industry. She is the founder and president of Promote Michigan and loves to research and promote Michigan’s lighthouses. She shares stories about the beacons and their keepers, and is considered an expert by many in the industry. Lighthouse Keepers are very dedicated in their profession–even in death. Dianna will share these stories of nearly two dozen lights in Michigan that are rumored to be haunted. From the smell of cigar smoke at Seul Choix Point to the mysterious housekeeping at White River Light Station and the antics at Waugoshance Shoal, these stories will entertain all ages.
